Episode 3 – Through the Second Stitch on a Bernina 830
The Bernina 830 is a great machine
. Lots of stitches, a good buttonhole, and the only electronics is in the foot control. Some old Berninas even use a carbon pile. It uses vertical spool pins (Yea!), and have a very easy to use bobbin winding tension post. I show you how to wind bobbins, thread the machine and start a seam. I cover the STITCH CYCLE and the HOME position to start and stop each seam.
